Reflection

In the group I helped with the research and making of the power point presentation.  We kinda just all did a little bit of research and everyone added their own slides as they went.  Once we had some good slides we went back and went over what slides we were going to keep and edit.  I know that i had issues with some of the figuring out how to post some of the stuff on the page and blogs.  I had to learn how to do this, and Blake and Daniel were a great help.  As a group we did have some issues finding times that we could all meet at. I feel like I earned a solid B or B+

Spencer, Thai, Melissa : Altered State of Legality
They definitely sounded like they knew what they were talking about.  They had Good points and evidence to back it up. They projected their voices well.  I think a few more pictures would have been nice.

Dana, Thor, Ben, JB : Show Me the Money
Good statistics and facts.  Showed a really good understanding of the topic. I did wonder how they would compensate athletes and how they would base the pay to athletes.

Matt, Jose, Brett : Fast Food in America
The slides looked really good. many good points were made.  I feel like i learned something from their presentation.

1. For my personal; lit narative I am going to double check the spelling because i know there is a spelling mistake, and i am going to add into it in a few areas and take some stuff out.  I am going to ditch a few parts that are kinda stereotyping people and ad something more light humored.  I am also going to cite my pictures which i did not do before.
2. So far in the group project I have been doing research, helping create the slideshow, typing the interview questions, finding cool pictures and fun facts.
3. I feel fine in the class except for the absences I have.  Im hoping I can pass and I feel like it is a little overweighted on attendance.

The first weekend of spring break some friends and I went out on one of our usual Sunday funday adventures of hiking and fishing.  Shannon, the girl I brought wanted to go see something cool before we made her sit there and watch us fish for the rest of the day.  We ended up going to the Grouse Falls overlook.  I have been there before but we thought she would like it.  Once we hiked out to the falls overlook we decided to see if we could hike to the falls about a mile away.  This didn’t seem likely but we tried anyways.  We dropped down the canyon to a tributary stream that we were going to follow to the bottom of the falls.  As we were on our way down we joke and laughed at people as they slipped and fell.  It was a great time.  Once we made it to the stream, which was ice cold from the little snowmelt we have, I was the only one who didn’t fall in.  It was great!  We followed the stream through some thick brush and ended up stopping when it became a box canyon.  Where we ended up is somewhere no one ever goes and that is the point of going to most places that we end up going to.  If someone were to end up there it would be some random people, probably from Foresthill.  Where we stopped I went a little farther and found two cool little waterfalls.  As cool as they were I probably wont go back because there weren’t any fish in the tributary and that’s the main point of going to places that no one goes is for good fishing.  If I were handed a tickent for anywhere in the world I would love to go to Alaska because there aren’t that many people out there and there is great hunting and fishing.  I would love to spend a solid month is Alaska hunting and fishing.  Hell I might even find sasquatch or something like that.
